Part two of our Philosophy and Science series will explore some of the common misconceptions of mainstream science.
Ideas such as Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, The Selfish Gene, and Darwinian Evolution have become so prevalent that we take for granted we understand them, but what we think they mean versus what they actually represent can be more different than we realise.
Key to the scientific approach is humility, to accept what we know and do not know and to seek the truth with objectivity and a deep desire to understand.
