In the context of the uncertainty of our time, the “Socratic approach” is a powerful philosophical tool because it challenges us to reconsider what a “good life” truly is; it asks us to rethink success, in order to rebuild our shared future on human foundations; and it empowers the individual, providing us with a method to redefine our own dignity and independence despite external instability.
