Table Quiz in Support of Ukrainian Refugees

New Acropolis Ireland hosted a table quiz fundraiser in support of the victims of the war in Ukraine. Special thanks to the many local businesses who generously donated prizes for the event.

We welcomed members of the public as well as of the school in our centre in Dublin and everyone enjoyed a friendly and social atmosphere. People enjoyed teas, coffees and pastries donated from Starbucks Rathmines and small snacks and spiced punch prepared by our volunteers in the centre. 

The quiz started with the eager participants finding their own team names and jumping into 3 rounds of questions on art, history, science, sports, music, trivia and philosophy. Some easy, some head-scratchers and some intriguing facts.

While the scores after each round were counted, the first few raffle prizes were distributed, culminating to the 1st prize for the winning team towards the end of the night. It was a pleasant and dynamic evening for all, underpinned by an expression of generosity in the community and a desire to help those in need.

A total of €750 was raised the full amount has been donated to the Irish Red Cross to aid in their considerate and continued efforts to support the people of Ukraine.
